KARACHI (Dunya News) – Several key incidents of the knife attacks might as well be pointing their connections to the notorius Blue Whale game specially due to two key suspects among 16 arrested so far.

Another knife attack occurred in Karachi while Waseem, who was arrested from Sahiwal in relation to Karachi knife attacks, is still under custody.

The latest incident occured when the victim, named Areeba, was going to her grandmother’s house with her brother. An unknown assailant riding a motorcycle attacked her with a knife. The incident happened at the Federal B. Area last night. Police have started the investigation to trace the  knifeman .

On the other hand, two suspects named Fawad and Ahsan were arrested from Gulistan-e-Johar in relation to the knife attacks. Fawad was proven to be present around the vicinity of all the 12 attacks based on his phone’s location data history.

According to the sources within police, both suspects are habitual players of the notorious Blue Whale game which begs the question whether this infamous game is the reason of the attacks. The investigation is still in process. Both suspects are also addicted to crystal meth and are also somewhat, mentally ill.

The Blue Whale game has emerged to be one of the most dangerous game in the world, taking the toll on many lives through its psychological manipulation by giving the player 50 challenges to complete, the last of which is ususally suicide. This game has also found its way in Pakistan and several cases have been reported regarding the game.

The evidence gathered from the mobile phones of the 2 suspects Fawad and Ahsan, reinforces the possibility that the Blue Whale game could be the probable reason behind these knife attacks. Preying on the weak minded and psychopaths, the game might have been asking to complete dangerous tasks including such knife attacks.
