The Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) has warned consumers of possible internet disruption from May 11 to 18 because of maintenance work on a submarine cable.

“A maintenance activity is planned on one of our submarine cables to repair a fault by the International Cable Consortium,” PTCL said in a post on Sunday. It even said that the repair work will begin on May 11 and continue till May 18.

The state-owned telecom giant manages three undersea optical fibre cable networks that provide international internet connectivity to Pakistan.
