Pakistan to test 5G internet service soon

ISLAMABAD: Minster for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal has said after successful launch of third and fourth generation technology, the government will soon test 5G service in the country.

Presiding over a meeting on Digital Pakistan in Islamabad, he said the government is striving to achieve the goals in the human resources development and technology sectors in collaboration with the private sector in the light of vision 2025.

Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan has become the fourth largest freelance country of world due to 3-G and fast-speed internet service.

The Planning Minister said the government is also establishing centers of excellence in artificial intelligence, cyber security, big data, cloud computing and robots. – APP
