CM Punjab appoints a ‘Social Media Focal Person’

LAHORE:  Punjab Chief Minister, CM, Usman Buzdar has appointed a ‘Social Media Focal Person.’

According to a notification shared by the Government of Punjab’s Twitter handle, Mr. Azhar Mashwani has been appointed as the social media focal person to CM. He will also assist the CM’s official spokesperson Shahbaz Gill.

 

Social Media is an important forum and Punjab Govt intends to use it to public’s advantage.

It has been learned that Mr. Azhar  has been an active worker of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf since 2010 and  managing the official social media of the party. He is a chartered accountant by education. As the CM’s social media focal person, he will be working with the provincial departments to devise and implement their digital media strategy.

This is a developing story and more information about Mr.Mashwani’s background will be shared soon.
