Amel Ghani on Samaa TV

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority recently lodged a complaint with Twitter for suspending accounts of Pakistani users apparently for tweeting about the ongoing Kashmir issue. Speaking to Dawn, Twitter officials denied allegations of a political bias and maintained it is impartial and supports free expression.

Media Matters for Democracy’s Special Programs Manager Amel Ghani sat down with Samaa TV’s show Naya Din’s team to discuss the issue of account suspensions and censorship against a tense political backdrop.
