#16DaysofActivism: The #Metoo’s successes and challenges in Pakistan

Over the past one year, many renowned personalities around the world have come forward to expose the perpetrators of harassment in their respective fields. Social media has played an instrumental role in allowing women to not only share their stories but also expose the perpetrators using the hashtag #Metoo. The movement also encouraged women in Pakistan to do the same. However, what has been the successes of this campaign? What hurdles have prevented the #Metoo movement from taking root within Pakistan. Our colleagues deconstruct these questions in this vodcast as part of #16DaysofActivism and #TakeBacktheTech.
