Usman Shahid is Manager at Digital Rights Monitor (DRM) under the Digital Rights & Internet Governance (DRIG) programme at Media Matters for Democracy (MMfD). He is also co-leading Facter, a digital investigation initiative facilitating newsrooms in countering mis/disinformation.
Usman formerly worked as the head of Culture desk at SAMAA TV (Digital). He is also a DRAPAC23 fellow.
