Fake pir arrested in Gujranwala for doing online magic

Lahore (Web Desk) -The Cyber Crime Wing of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a fake pir for trapping people online.

According to media reports, the FIA took action against a Gujranwala man who had been looting people pretending as an Aamil baba. The man used to trap the people online by assuring them of getting their problems resolved or uniting them with their beloved.

Media reports said that the fake Pir had collected Rs 7 lac from a citizen.

Earlier, the Cyber Crime Wing arrested the Amil Baba in Gujranwala for allegedly doing online magic.

Acting on a tip-off, the Cyber Crime Wing arrested Noorani Baba of Gujranwala who used to trap people in online magic. Cyber Crime Wing’s Inspector Asad said that the fraudulent pir was arrested from Qila Didar Singh. The inspector said that the pir used to take money from the innocent through online fraud.

The fake pir had a website for trapping people. He used to take Rs 5 lac fee from Pakistanis while Rs 15 lac from the people abroad.
