ISLAMABAD: 3G mobile internet service has been launched in the tehsil Khawar, Bajaur. This was announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan via his twitter handle here on Monday.
Another commitment fulfilled to bring what was FATA into the mainstream. Last Friday in the jalsa I had promised the people of Bajaur 3 G service. Now 3 G service has been launched in Tehsil Khawar in Bajaur.

Mr. Khan noted that he had had filled his promise of bringing the Federally administered tribal area into the mainstream.
It is to be noted that PM Khan had announced the restoration of the mobile internet services while addressing the public meeting at Bajaur here on March 15. They were suspended on June 12, 2016 owing to security reasons.
Earlier, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan had announced the inauguration of 3G and 4G services across tribal districts while addressing a public meeting.
